Aravinth Balaji Ravichandran is a PhD researcher in quantum thermodynamics at the International Centre for Theory of Quantum Technologies (ICTQT), University of Gdańsk. His work centres on quantum batteries and the theory of ergotropy, approached through the framework of open quantum systems: GKLS dynamics, collective dissipation, feedback control, and engineered reservoirs treated as resources rather than as sources of decoherence. Alongside this, his interests extend to superconducting quantum technologies and mesoscopic physics.
